Railroad tracks leading into the heart of Saxony - Dresden, reaching the city, are woven into two nodes. The new project is meant by "clean up" the original building on the extensions that it "has acquired" over the past century, and subsequent expansion of the station. For example, a new platform in 2006 were twice as long as the old, and canopies over them increased by 200 meters. The basic "highlight" of the project was an enormous transparent roof of the central station. Stretched over a light film coating station, which is a combination of Teflon and fiberglass covers 30,000 square meters. This is a kind of tribute to the original project, as part of the roof before the war consisted of a glass, which was replaced after the destruction of a tree. And at the same time, this decision demonstrates the capabilities of modern innovative technologies, as by passing the light of day, reflecting the interior lighting, a unique material significantly reduces the cost of electricity.
Under the arches of endless clear day are more than 50,000 passengers and more, at least the same number of satellites. Dresden Station, though helpful doorman with excellent manners and dashing bearing, warmly greets and escorts residents and visitors to the series that you should definitely join.
